A graduate of Georgia State University, Pattie Strickland works at Terry College of Business Office of Development & Alumni Relations. She enjoys traveling with family, reading, cooking for large crowds, and watching movies. She lives in Athens with her two dogs, Rosie and Dottie. In her spare time, Pattie is active within the community. She is a member of the Junior League of Athens and has held positions such as Cookbook Committee Chair, New Member Class Trainer, Communications Vice President, Membership Council Vice President, Nominating Committee Co-Chair, Community Council Vice President and board member. Pattie is past Secretary and President of the Morton Theatre Corporation. She also volunteers with the Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund, the TRI to Beat Cancer Triathlon, the American Cancer Society's Suits and Sneakers gala, the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Clarke County and BrestFest Athens. Pattie will graduate from L.E.A.D. Athens, a year long leadership development program, in 2016.
