Make a Difference. Impact a Life.
Mental Health Awareness Week - October 2-8, 2022 was a SUCCESS!
Local restaurants, churches, businesses, and organizations partnered with FOA to help with the mission of bringing about awareness with mental illness facts and information sharing in their businesses. We ask that you patronize these locations as they choose to give back a portion of their proceeds to FOA during this specified week. Churches were asked to adopt Friends of Advantage as local monthly missions to help educate and bridge gaps for individuals in need that are not covered by government, insurance, or grant proceeds. Awareness saves lives...take time to learn and share.
Our Advantage Mental Health Awareness Candle Vigil was held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 7pm. If you were unable to attend, it is available to you as it was recorded. To view, please go to www.facebook.com/Advantagecommunity.com/live_videos/
Advantage serves Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe and Walton Counties,

Consider serving on an event committee or as an FOA Board Member:
FOA is currently seeking individuals who are willing to help plan and execute our events as well as pubic relations. Volunteers are most helpful in bringing our visions and goals to fruition.
All proceeds from Friends of Advantage directly assist Advantage Behavioral Health Systems in bridging gaps in funding for Mental Illness, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Addictive Diseases that are not provided by government, grants, insurance, or families.
