Lynne Sartain has lived in Ila, GA for 38 years and Madison County all of life. One summer day, at the approximate age of 11 years old, she became bored. She picked up some of her mom's fabric scraps and taught herself to sew. She had watched her mom many times and was confident she could also. Since that day, it has become one of her favorite hobbies. She is now retired and enjoys sewing dresses for her three granddaughters, decorating her home and having fun with Halloween costumes for the entire family. She takes great satisfaction in seeing the smiles on their faces when they receive something she has made for them.
