Sarah Austin was interested in fashion from a young age. While in high schools in Savannah, she started a company, Mimi Chic Designs, with her Mom, Martha Sullivan, where she designed and sold over 5000 purses at boutiques all over the Southeast. She grew the business and watched her designs evolve over the six years she owned her company. This endeavor taught Sarah about business, how to sew and implement her vision and provided a vehicle for her creativity. She double majored at UGA with a BBA from the Terry College of Business and a BSFCS in Furnishings & Interiors. After graduation, she began working at Athens First Bank & Trust as a Management Associate before joining the Private Wealth Management Team. As a Private Banker, Sarah works with high-net worth clients with a focus on the medical market. She offers creative banking solutions for her clients beyond traditional banking needs. Sarah volunteers for a variety of worthy organizations and presently serves as the Board President for Hope Haven of Northeast Georgia, member of the Junior League of Athens, member of the 1919 committee at Athens Regional, and an active member with the Chamber of Commerce. She is married to Bryan Austin and they have a precious daughter, Kate, who is their proudest accomplishment.
