Congratulations to Maria Lyn Reese, our 2015 Friends of Advantage adDRESS a Need Designer's Challenge Winner! Maria's design "From a Train Wreck to I Do 3,2,1" is a gorgeous and very well thought out design. It is a stunning wedding gown which includes a detachable train, then after the wedding reduces to a lovely long dress for the reception, and then to an elegant short dress for going away, hence the name 3,2,1. Outstanding job Maria and excellent job judges! People'...s Choice in Design was awarded to Brenda Zareie who received 946 votes. Brenda was also selected as Most Creative Designer this year by our judge panel. We had a new and refreshing element with our first ever Junior Designer 2015, eight year old, Macie Merchant. Macie is just an amazing young lady that is an inspiration to us all. Beverly Barnett was named the 2015 Friends of Advantage adRESS a Need Top Model bringing in 2,046 votes! First runner up is Bonnie Dunn and 2nd Runner Up is Hayden Massey. Our Junior Top Model for 2015 is Cierra Flanagan who brought in 1,100 votes. 1st Runner Up is Callie Crawford and Megan Hanley is 2nd Runner Up. Friends of Advantage considers all of our participants winners as each one reached out to help serve others in need through the address a Need project. Collectively, all the designers and models brought in well over $10,500 to assist with furnishing for our new and upcoming Advantage Homeless Day Service Center currently being constructed at our North Avenue location. Thanks to everyone who gave of yourselves and played a part in adDRESSing Needs with this AMAZING event.
